The NEM community in Ukraine is actively developing and improving ideas and projects in NEM, as well as expands the circle of supporters and like-minded people. During 2018, the NEM team in Ukraine held more than 30 meetups, some of them was held like an educational meetup in the format of the talk about what the Blockchain technology is, how it can be applied in business and in the public sector. There are also meetups in the form of training for corporate clients, for associations, for federations, also the training for the state sector and for developers, who are interested in NEM capabilities. And most importantly, such meetups encourage more and more professionals to create new projects using NEM technology.

The NEM team in Ukraine is actively involved in expanding the scope of NEM use in our country. The main case of using the NEM technology is election process to increase transparency. It will be implemented either with the CEC, or with public organizations, but nonetheless – this is the case where Blockchain shows itself as a technology that provides trust. NEM followers in Ukraine are also working on projects for several state registries, cooperation with the National Bank, case to style diplomas on Blockchain for a local educational institution in Zaporozhye and a charity case that they plan to carry out before the end of the year.

However, not all proposals for cooperation were accepted by the NEM team, especially in the commercial sector. After all, it is not appropriate to implement the Blockchain anywhere. Especially, when economy of the project will not be able to earn money and bring benefits to society. However, a working case for doing business was implemented with one of Ukrainian company. The point is that they have contractors who provide services to the parent company and they have a certain rating system that helps to distribute the work conditions. With the joint efforts were developed a concept to implement tokenomic, that allows to give rewards to contractors in tokens, and later they will be able to participate in the auction and use these earned tokens for certain better / worse conditions. Also, a promising NEM project in Ukraine is a case of feedback on Blockchain. Its essence lies in the fact that travel company trying to secure its trip reviews, hotels, excursions. They place it on the Blockchain, as it turns out that it is possible to twist even the Booking rating, erase negative reviews and so on.

There will be elections in NEM Foundation soon. NEM Foundation coordinates work and contributes to the development of NEM Blockchain technology. This is a group of people elected by the community in order to develop technology and facilitate the implementation of decisions (that is why the NEM was created). Only one representative goes to the board from Ukraine. There are candidates from neighboring countries also. There are 2 presidential candidates, both of them have their advantages. The NEM Foundation does not just say that they have an election, but it shows how to use it on practice. In fact, it is a precedent of global scale, when the top management of a large company is elected on the Blockchain.

NEM Foundation has a quite effective tokenomics, the NEM Blockchain is a platform on which you can build certain solutions. Generally, the essence of the coin is to pay all commissions in Blockchain and it simultaneously motivates people to take an active part in the super nodes possession. For example, they freeze 3,000,000 XEMs and constantly confirm transactions for which they receive a fee from the commission. Therefore, the possibility of earning in NEM is different, and it`s sample is described in the technical documentation. If we talk about the price of a token, then of course there is a big influence of the market on it.

There is a conflict in the NEM community, rather between the heads of regional offices, about who will come to power this time. However, the representatives of the NEM community perceive it positively, because competition will only benefit and help the emergence of new more technological solutions and the formation of a strong team with a promising development program.

The representatives of the crypto-community of Ukraine should unite around the common goal – the implementation of Blockchain technologies in the fields where it really needs and will bring significant benefits. The main goal of NEM is the same – to attract real projects to the public network of the Blockchain. More projects – more transactions, commissions, more demand for tokens, more opportunities for harvesting, marketing, new developers and so on.

The main goal of the Ukrainian representatives of NEM is to establish a Blockchain center, the center of a new region, and unite all the countries around Ukraine. We wish the NEM team to realize this aspiration into reality!
